Zibby continued to reinvigorate literary culture with her immersive Palm Beach Retreat for Book Lovers, which took place January 30–February 1, 2026, bringing readers and celebrated authors together in an inspiring Palm Beach setting. The weekend centered on meaningful connection through intimate author conversations, writing workshops, a curated bookstore crawl, and reflective experiences designed to foster creativity and community. Thoughtfully programmed and warmly attended, the retreat created space for both inspiration and genuine exchange — a reminder of the power of gathering around stories in real life.

The author lineup featured an impressive mix of bestselling and emerging voices, including Miranda Cowley Heller, #1 New York Times bestselling author of The Paper Palace and What The Deep Water Knows; Marie Benedict, author of Queens of Crime and Daughter of Egypt; Jenna Blum, author of Those Who Save Us and Murder Your Darlings; Audrey Ingram, USA Today bestselling author and Book of the Month pick for The Summer We Ran; and debut thriller writer Julie Doar, author of The Gallagher Place, among others. What began as a podcast recorded from Zibby’s home — Totally Booked with Zibby — has since evolved into a thriving literary brand, now extending into in-person experiences that readers clearly embraced. Reflecting on the event, Zibby shared, ““The Palm Beach Retreat for Book Lovers exceeded my expectations. The crowd who attended was absolutely lovely and were clearly hungry for the type of literary inspiration that our programming offered. More than that, everyone really seemed to appreciate the opportunity to connect in such a beautiful, new, Palm Beach venue. We’re making this an annual event!”
