There’s getting ready—and then there’s getting ready with Eric Goldie. Ahead of the amfAR Gala in Palm Beach this past weekend, the lifestyle, travel, and fashion creator brought us along for his pre-event ritual, complete with his go-to grooming essentials, a few candid moments, and the final look he’s stepping out in. Known for his sharp wit and effortless style, here’s an inside look at how Goldie gets gala-ready.
amfAR is an incredible non-profit organization dedicated to ending the global HIV/AIDS epidemic through innovative research, clinical trials, and education. Since its conception in 1985, the organization has invested over $950 million in grants to scientists worldwide, focusing on cure, prevention, and treatment advocacy.
Goldie kicks off his routine with none other than a glass of champagne (because, obviously). With his beverage in hand, the creator begins the process with his skincare routine starting with a brightening mask. Palm Beach-based men’s hair stylist, Robert Dominick, arrives to Goldie’s hotel room arrives to Goldie’s hotel room to handle hair and final grooming before the night begins. Dressed in a full suit from Valentino, Goldie describes his look as “funkier than he has done in previous years.” The look features a pearl-encrusted collared shirt sitting beneath a plaid suit with wide-leg trousers. To complete the look, Goldie shares all of the jewelry–from bracelets to rings–is Bvlgari.
