City of Hope’s East End Chapter/Jeanne Kaye League gathered New York’s philanthropic leaders, entrepreneurs and change makers at The Plaza Hotel on June 8th for its annual Award Luncheon, raising more than $400,000 to advance ground-breaking cancer research and innovative treatments.

Led by East End Chapter President Lisa Fuld alongside her sister Kathy Kaye and a dedicated board of influential New York and Hamptons women, the inspiring afternoon featured heartfelt speeches, a lively silent raffle and an energetic live auction led by renowned auctioneer, Lisa Rezak.
The event’s highest honor, the prestigious Spirit of Life® Award, was presented to entrepreneur and cancer survivor, Lisa Friedman Clark and ArtRepublic Global CEO, Jennifer Santiago. Both honorees delivered deeply personal remarks, sharing their cancer journeys while highlighting the life-saving importance of early detection and recognizing the physicians and researchers at City of Hope whose work continues to transform patient care.

A highlight of the luncheon, the coveted raffle offered an array of extraordinary experiences and luxury prizes, including a round of golf with five-time World Series champion Paul O’Neill, dinner for two at the legendary Rao’s, the use of a Cadillac luxury vehicle for one month, a complete veneer transformation by one of Manhattan’s leading cosmetic dentists and a facelift from a top New York plastic surgeon. Transportation for the honorees was graciously provided by Broadway Elite Limousine.
The Spirit of Life® Award has recognized an impressive roster of influential women over the years, including Jane Fonda, Dr. Jill Biden, Brooke Shields, Katie Couric, Cindy Crawford, Fran Drescher, Kristin Chenoweth, Kelly Ripa, Robin Roberts and Hoda Kotb, among many others.
