Dennis Basso ushered in a new era for its signature uptown girl on Monday, September 14th, presenting its Spring/Summer 2027 collection at Gotham Hall during New York Fashion Week.

Rooted in the glamour and heritage of the house, the season’s woman takes on a more modern, youthful edge, bringing downtown cool to Dennis Basso’s unmistakable sense of luxury. She’s just as comfortable at a five-star resort as she is disappearing somewhere completely off the map and always arrives impeccably dressed.

The collection played with the contrast of lightness and opulence, featuring original-print silk chiffon, four-ply silk charmeuse, featherweight tweed, hand-embroidered silk organza, rich brocades and feathers. Knee-length cocktail dresses and polished tweed daywear were balanced by flowing chiffon silhouettes, while black-tie gowns brought the drama with pearls, paillettes, bugle beads and hand-cut crystals.

Accessories added another layer of glamour, including handbags from AERIN, Eugi Park and a gold minaudière from the late Mrs. Basso, alongside Jennifer Miller jewelry and Dennis Basso shoes and accessories. Among the guests in attendance were Christie Brinkley, Ramona Singer, Kelly Bensimon, Faith Ward and Jill Kargman.

The collection also included looks available through QVC under Dennis by Dennis Basso, extending the house’s signature style beyond the runway and giving its uptown girl even more ways to make the look her own.
