A chic night at The Carlyle uptown brought friends and creatives together to celebrate Morgan Hutchinson and the launch of her new memoir, Bipolar Blonde. The evening was a toast to Hutchinson’s deeply personal story of love, ambition, resilience and starting again, with Blair Eadie, Katie Sturino, Elyse Walker, founder of Francies Valentine, Gracie Abercrombie, Lele Sadoughi and more in attendance.

The debut memoir from Hutchinson, founder of fashion brand BURU, pulls back the curtain on the polished life she has built to tell a much more unfiltered story. Set in part against the backdrop of New York, Bipolar Blonde follows Hutchinson through falling in love during a manic episode, hitting rock bottom and ultimately learning how to rescue herself. Equal parts candid, witty and vulnerable, the book explores mental health, romance, survival and reinvention with a refreshing sense of humor and honesty.

With the book officially launching this week, the night at The Carlyle offered a fittingly glamorous setting to celebrate a story that goes far beyond the polished exterior and Hutchinson’s next chapter.
