Earlier this summer, New York’s iconic Plaza Hotel welcomed some of the city’s most philanthropic minds for the City of Hope East End Chapter and Jeanne Kaye League Award Luncheon—an afternoon of style, spirit, and record-breaking generosity. With more than $500,000 raised, this year’s luncheon marked one of the most successful in the East End Chapter’s history.
Among the event’s highlights was a meaningful contribution from East Hampton-based artist Deborah Fine, whose abstract painting “Rose Gold” sold at auction for over $3,000. Known for her emotionally resonant compositions inspired by coastal surroundings, Fine brought a touch of Hamptons elegance to the Manhattan gala, supporting a cause close to her heart.

Fine, a former creative at Condé Nast, channels her editorial eye into each of her canvases—balancing refined minimalism with rich color stories. Her work is available for view at studiodeborahfine.com.
Whether through brushstrokes or bidding paddles, this summer kicked off with a powerful reminder: art and generosity are a winning pair.
