Sweat for Smiles brought together a vibrant community at The Pearl NYC for POWER UP, an energizing charity event benefitting Covenant House and youth experiencing homelessness. The evening blended movement, mindfulness, and meaningful connection—all in support of a powerful cause.
Guests were welcomed with nourishing sips and snacks before jumping into a dynamic Strength and Conditioning workout led by Sweatalittleglitter, delivering a fun yet challenging experience that energized the room.

Following the workout, attendees gathered for the Power Up Panel, moderated by Sweat for Smiles founder Ashley Slaughter, featuring Stacy Igel, Penny Goffman, and Natasha D’Anna. The inspiring conversation explored what it means to truly “power up”—celebrating wins, building resilience, and fostering authentic connections. Guests were surprised with giveaways including Stacy Igel’s new book, Embracing the Calm in the Chaos, and Natasha D’Anna’s 365 Daily Planner.
Each attendee received a curated favor bag filled with wellness treats, including a Seawaves of Support calm bracelet, beauty essentials, and protein-packed snacks. The celebration continued in the lobby with food, wine, complimentary hair touch-ups, and ongoing connection—many guests staying long past the event’s close.

POWER UP strengthened bodies, uplifted spirits, and sparked genuine community, perfectly capturing Sweat for Smiles’ mission to unite movement and mindfulness for meaningful impact.
