Furla, Fondazione Furla, and GAM celebrated the opening of Sara Enrico’s exhibition Under the Sun, Beyond the Skin during Milan Fashion Week. Curated by Bruna Roccasalva, the project transforms the Villa Reale gardens into a stage where art and nature connect through a series of striking sculptures.
Enrico’s practice centers on the concepts of materiality, transition, and the tension between surface and form. She merges approaches from tailoring, architecture, choreography, and sculpture, working with materials like concrete, pigment, fabric, and steel to articulate relationships between the body, the object, and surrounding space.

Guests joined the artist, Roccasalva, and Furla CEO Eraldo Poletto for a guided tour and cocktail reception in the historic gardens. Attendees included Rebecca Parziale, Antonia Nocca, Nagomi, Sofia Craighero, Marta Matilde Favili, Lavinia Guglielman, Clio Bargellini, and Aya. Many carried pieces from Furla’s FW25 collection, including the limited-edition Iride bag unveiled at Fashion Week.
Enrico’s vision came to life in a way that highlighted Furla and Fondazione Furla’s ongoing commitment to contemporary art in Milan. The Villa Reale gardens became more than a backdrop, offering a space where fashion, culture, and community could meet in the city.
