Building a memorable brand online can be as simple as leading with intention, sharing your unique perspective, being your authentic self—and sometimes, using lots of hair spray! So, do you know the real you?

LEAD WITH PURPOSE.
I never walk into a room—or post on IG—without intention. Maybe it’s to inspire, delight, or educate. Know your “why” before you show your “what.”
BE YOUR AUTHENTIC SELF.
Self-branding isn’t just aesthetics—it’s values. Your values.Your perspective. Not copying others. Do people know what you stand for? Tell your story. That’s what turns followers into fans.
DON’T JUST CREATE—DOCUMENT.
I’m not always “creating content.” I’m living my life—and letting people come along for the ride. There’s a difference, and that also makes the creative process sustainable.
BE A LITTLE PREDICTABLE (IN THE BEST WAY).
People should know what to expect from you. That’s not boring—it’s iconic.Whether it’s a favorite phrase (ahem, “Hey, it’s Suebelle in Palm Beach”), a signature look, or your double espresso, repetition builds recognition. And recognition builds brand. START. Don’t wait to feel ready, don’t wait for perfect pics or the perfect plan. I started at 76 with my iPhone, my frosted pink lipstick, and something to say. If I can do it, so can you. The first post may not be perfect, but it will be yours.
So whether you’re building a business, a persona, or just the next version of you, you don’t need to be everywhere, do everything, or appeal to everyone. Just show up—confident and consistent—and let the rest follow. Iconic doesn’t mean perfect. It just means true.
