Renowned artist CJ Hendry unveiled her latest collection “Keff Joons,” which drew inspiration from Jeff Koons’ famed balloon sculptures.
Per usual, Hendry ingrained her playful personality into this immersive exhibition. She encourages viewers to interact with the art and uncover how these objects transform the spaces around them.
“Balloons are so simple, yet they carry this enormous emotional weight—joy, nostalgia, fragility. I love that they float so effortlessly, but at any moment, they can pop,” said Hendry. “While Jeff has transformed the balloon animal into an icon of art, I’ve cobbled together these balloon ‘knots’ that forgo structure and form and are totally ridiculous. I’m leaving the real art to the professionals!”

The exhibition is being held at 50 Gold Street in Dumbo, Brooklyn from April 11th through the 20th. The collection is comprised of 50 massive sculptures with an original centerpiece to top off the Keff Joons exhibition.
Viewers can even purchase items including t-shirts, baseball caps, balloon packs, enamel pins, prints, and more.
