How did you get your start in the beauty industry? Where was your first beauty job?
I got my start as an advanced medical aesthetician, working with doctors and in spa environments. I loved being able to transform skin on a deeper level, but I quickly realized that there was a much bigger audience out there—people who wanted real, science-backed beauty advice but didn’t have access to clinical treatments or weren’t sure where to start.
You’re a seasoned MUA. What made you decide to pivot toward health and beauty education?
After years of working hands-on with clients, I saw the same issues pop up over and over; people were either misinformed or overwhelmed by skincare and makeup choices. I wanted to cut through the noise and give them real, practical advice that actually works. Beauty should feel fun, not intimidating!
How has this experience been fulfilling for you?
Nothing beats the feeling of helping someone feel confident in their skin. Whether it’s teaching someone how to prevent premature aging, showing them how to enhance their natural beauty, or just giving them the tools to take better care of themselves, I love seeing that “aha!” moment when it all clicks. Being able to make beauty accessible for more people is what fulfills me the most.
You regularly appear on talk shows and use your social media platform to talk about beauty and wellness. What message are you looking to send with your content?
Beauty isn’t about perfection—it’s about taking care of yourself in a way that feels good and sustainable. I want to help people cut through unrealistic beauty standards and focus on what actually works. I’m all about smart skincare, enhancing what you have, and embracing beauty at every stage. Aging isn’t something to “fight”—it’s something to support.
How have you been able to empower women with more mature skin to embrace their beauty?
By giving them the tools to work with their skin instead of against it. Mature skin has different needs, but that doesn’t mean you have to throw in the towel. It’s about shifting the focus—hydration over mattifying, glow over heavy coverage, collagen support over quick fixes. I also remind women that their skin tells their story, and that’s a beautiful thing. I want them to feel confident, radiant, and excited about taking care of themselves, no matter their age.
And let’s talk about something important: getting treatments or surgery. There is absolutely no shame in choosing a more hands-on approach to how you want to age. Whether it’s microneedling, lasers, injectables, facelifts, or any other procedure, it’s your face, your choice. Women shouldn’t feel guilty or pressured to “age naturally” if they don’t want to.
What is your biggest beauty tip?
Preventative skincare, hands down. Don’t wait until you see fine lines or damage—start early with treatments and products that stimulate collagen, like microneedling, exosomes, and growth factors. Think of your skin like a savings account—the more you invest in it early, the better off you’ll be later. And of course, wear your sunscreen.
Do you have any special projects coming up that you can tell us about?
I have some exciting product launches coming up, plus new content focused on giving my audience even more access to expert beauty and wellness advice. I’m also expanding my platform to offer a more interactive, personalized experience for my community—because let’s be honest, we all need that best-friend-in-beauty who tells it like it is.
