CaringKind marked a major milestone on June 8, celebrating the 30th Anniversary Forget-Me-Not Gala at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City. The evening brought together advocates, philanthropists, and supporters of the Alzheimer’s and dementia community for a night dedicated to raising awareness and funding critical services. Hosted by longtime CaringKind champion and actor David Hyde Pierce, the gala raised more than $1.7 million in support of the organization’s free programs for individuals living with dementia and their caregivers.

The evening honored actress, artist, and philanthropist Jane Seymour with the Connect2Hope Award for her longstanding commitment to Alzheimer’s advocacy and education. Jeffrey N. Jones, retired KPMG partner and CaringKind Board Co-Chair, received the Connect2Impact Award in recognition of his leadership and dedication to the organization. Guests gathered for a cocktail reception featuring brain-healthy culinary offerings before enjoying dinner, a live auction led by Jamie McDonald, and an after-party filled with music and dancing.

In remarks throughout the evening, speakers highlighted the growing need for dementia support services and the importance of CaringKind’s mission. For nearly five decades, the organization has provided free guidance, education, and resources to families navigating Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, serving more than 21,000 individuals and families last year alone.

As the gala celebrated three decades of impact, the evening served as both a reflection on CaringKind’s legacy and a call to continue supporting those affected by dementia. With a record of compassionate care and community outreach, the Forget-Me-Not Gala remains one of New York’s most meaningful philanthropic events.
