Christie’s of Palm Beach began an online auction containing over 200 Iris Apfel pieces on January 28th, 2025.
The auction is comprised of clothing, accessories, and even some of the late designer’s artwork from her New York City and Palm Beach residences.
Christie’s is titling this vast collection “Unapologetically Iris: The Collection of Iris Apfel.” Apfel was known for her use of bold colors and patterns, breathing life into her designs.
She was unapologetic when it came to being her most authentic self, and Christie’s collection of clothing, accessories, and artwork honors her as such.
In the collection, bidders will find Dior haute couture pieces, Carolina Herrera gowns, Missoni trousers, Iris Apfel x Zenni frames, and much more.
Select items from the collection were even on display at the iconic Colony Hotel in Palm Beach for bidders and guests to view.
