Fashion, beauty, and culture’s leading names gathered at New York City’s Rainbow Room on Wednesday, October 14th, for Fashion Group International’s 42nd annual Night of Stars gala. This year’s black-tie celebration, themed “The Modernists,” honored six visionaries whose creativity and influence continue to shape their respective industries.

Among the evening’s honorees were Wes Gordon, global creative director of Carolina Herrera, who received the Fashion Visionary Award; fashion communications leader Lucien Pagès, recipient of the Media Leadership Award; and designer Roksanda Ilinčić, who took home the Fashion Star Award. Jane Hertzmark Hudis, executive vice president and chief brand officer of The Estée Lauder Companies, was recognized with the Beauty Award, while celebrity stylist Micaela Erlanger received the Style Award in Honor of Edith Head. Business leader, designer, and philanthropist Henry R. Muñoz III was also honored with the Changemaker Award.

The evening’s presenters included Paige Paul, Nicole Phelps, Jonathan Saunders, Aerin Lauder, Christian Siriano, and actor Tonatiuh, who joined the celebration to recognize the honorees’ contributions to fashion, beauty, and the broader creative landscape.

The guest list was equally noteworthy, with Vera Wang, Brandon Maxwell, Linda Fargo, Fern Mallis, Ruben Toledo, Sybil and David Yurman, Olympia of Greece, and Jean Shafiroff among those in attendance. Guests began the evening with a cocktail reception sponsored by Simon G. Jewelry before gathering for a seated dinner and awards ceremony. The jewelry house also created commemorative brooches for each honoree in keeping with the evening’s theme.

Beyond celebrating industry achievement, Night of Stars supports Fashion Group International’s year-round educational programming, mentorship, scholarships, and professional development initiatives, helping foster the next generation of fashion and beauty talent.
