At this year’s Milan Design Week 2026, Louis Vuitton transformed the historic Palazzo Serbelloni into an immersive celebration of design, craftsmanship, and the art of travel. The House unveiled its latest Objets Nomades collection alongside iconic trunks and archival pieces, creating a journey that moved seamlessly between Art Deco heritage and contemporary innovation.

Inspired by legendary Art Deco designer Pierre Legrain, the exhibition unfolded room by room through bold color stories, geometric motifs, and richly layered textures. Vintage trunks, fragrance bottles, and travel accessories from the Louis Vuitton Heritage collection were displayed alongside contemporary furniture and decorative objects, highlighting the enduring evolution of the House’s savoir-faire.
Among the standout moments were the reissued Omega-shaped Coiffeuse Céleste originally designed for Louis Vuitton in 1921, the futuristic Cocoon Dichroic by Estudio Campana and Géraldine Gonzalez, and Raw Edges’ mesmerizing Stella Armchair, which played with optical illusions through its textile design. Throughout the exhibition, Louis Vuitton balanced functionality with artistry, reaffirming its vision of travel as both luxurious and deeply imaginative.

The presentation also extended beyond Palazzo Serbelloni to the Louis Vuitton store on Via Montenapoleone, where the House showcased extraordinary trunk creations including the stained-glass Malle Courrier Lozine Maison de Famille, originally created for a recent show by Pharrell Williams. Together, the installations offered a striking portrait of Louis Vuitton’s ability to bridge tradition, innovation, and contemporary design culture.
