Fashion in East Hampton got a major upgrade this season with the arrival of Odeum, an immersive concept store from Artem del Castillo. Located on Railroad Avenue, Odeum reimagines shopping as a gallery-like experience, blending global design with thoughtfully curated discovery.

Designed by United Nomads Group, the team behind Scorpios Bazaars in Mykonos and Bodrum, the space unfolds in a series of richly layered rooms that feel equal parts contemporary and dreamlike. Visitors are invited to wander through environments that range from the Hamptons-inspired calm of the main salon to the velvet-draped Boudoir, an homage to Hollywood’s surreal glamour. The Future room, washed in liquid gold, offers sharp silhouettes and avant-garde flourishes that reflect Odeum’s cross-cultural perspective.

Inside, more than 70 global brands share the spotlight, including architectural pieces by Nensi Dojaka, hedonistic touches by Ludovic de Saint Sernin, and sculptural leather accessories by Hereu. A rotating selection of art, furniture, and collectible objects further elevates the boutique beyond traditional retail.

“It’s designed to be experienced slowly,” del Castillo shared. “Each room, each piece, is part of a conversation. East Hampton felt like the right beginning.”

In conversation with Spotlight, he explained how Odeum’s vision of the “modern nomad” resonates with Hamptons life:

“For me, the Hamptons is where people who’ve made it in the city come to relax and reconnect with themselves. It’s nomadic in a different way from Mykonos or Bodrum—there’s a sense of ritual in stepping away from it all and savoring what you’ve worked for.”

When asked what brands he’d recommend to first-time visitors, del Castillo was quick to name Caravana and Delos, alongside Hereu’s shoes and bags that balance familiarity with just enough disruption. The space also previews the brand’s first fragrance and candle collection, signaling an evolution from ready-to-wear into a broader lifestyle offering.

Though he hinted that soft tailoring and swimwear might be next, for now, Odeum is a place to discover and shop—where thoughtful design and storytelling come together.

Odeum is open daily from 10 AM to 8 PM at 9 Railroad Avenue in East Hampton. For more information, visit odeum.land.
