The Night Veils collection makes its return this season, reimagined and elevated with a striking new creation. First launched in 2015, the line has become known for capturing the transformative spirit of night through extrait de parfum. Now it enters a new era with the debut of Bois Obscur, joining four renewed icons: Rouge Chaotique, Casablanca Lily, Vanille Antique, and Cuir Sellier.

Each extrait de parfum is composed with rare raw materials and crafted at high concentration, designed to embody the heightened perception and stripped-down identity that emerge after nightfall. The fragrances are conceived as mirrors, reflecting instinct, vulnerability, and freedom.

The campaign, photographed by Zhong Lin, translates this spirit into light-soaked surrealism. Model Guinevere Van Seenus embodies the raw and unguarded self that surfaces in the dark, while still-life images by Romain Lenancker highlight the flacon’s sculptural qualities. The redesigned bottle, carved from solid glass and topped with an antique gold cap, enhances the ritual of wearing perfume. Its dual-toned atomizer in silver and gold adds a final refined detail.

At the heart of the relaunch is Bois Obscur, a slow-burning revelation that unfolds with saffron, eucalyptus, and smoky papyrus before giving way to the narcotic pull of tuberose and jasmine. An oud accord anchors the fragrance, enriched with amber, patchouli, labdanum, and sandalwood. The result is a layered, magnetic expression of night’s quiet intensity.

The four reimagined icons each return with a heightened presence. Rouge Chaotique celebrates sensual contrast with citrus and spice melting into plum, praline, and the textured depth of upcycled oak. Cuir Sellier evokes the quiet power of aged leather, layered with black tea, tobacco, birchwood, and oakmoss. Vanille Antique explores the complexity of Madagascan vanilla, balanced by freesia, plum, amber, and cashmere wood. Casablanca Lily honors the nocturnal bloom with gardenia, carnation, and tuberose, rooted in rosewood and honey.

Together, these five extraits distill the essence of night as both an external landscape and an inner transformation, where identity is stripped to its purest form and perfume becomes an intimate reflection of self.

Today, October 2, Byredo boutiques, Byredo.com, and select luxury retailers across the globe will carry the collection.
