The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research returned to Palm Beach in inspiring fashion this March, hosting its fifth annual “It Will Take All of Us to Cure Parkinson’s” luncheon at The Beach Club. Marking 25 years of scientific impact, the gathering brought together dedicated supporters and new advocates alike to celebrate the remarkable momentum in Parkinson’s research—and the collective effort driving it forward.

Co-chairs Hayley Paige, Marlene Silver, and Bonnie Strauss welcomed guests with heartfelt remarks, sharing personal connections to the cause and underscoring the Foundation’s mission to accelerate better treatments and, ultimately, a cure. The program highlighted the extraordinary progress already underway, with more than 175 drugs currently in development aimed at slowing disease progression and improving quality of life.

A powerful moment came with the screening of a short film honoring Team Human Powered Potential, whose 2,800-mile rowing journey raised both awareness and critical funds. The audience rose in a moving tribute to participant Pat Morrissey, whose presence embodied the resilience at the heart of the Foundation’s work. Actor Barry Bostwick added a personal touch to the afternoon, sharing stories of his longtime friend Michael J. Fox and reflecting on his unwavering optimism.

The luncheon concluded with a compelling panel led by Debi Brooks, featuring leading voices in Parkinson’s research who offered insight into the breakthroughs shaping the future of treatment and detection.

Raising over $1 million, the event was a testament to the power of community and commitment—fueling the Foundation’s mission to deliver a cure and transform what’s possible for those living with Parkinson’s today.
