On October 24th, 2023, Kylie Jenner announced her new clothing brand Khy. Khy by Kylie Jenner is set to launch on Wednesday, November 1st. Jenner is also the owner of award-winning cosmetics brand Kylie Cosmetics, and now she’s moving into the fashion industry—but not for the first time.
Back in 2012, Jenner and her sister Kendall started their line of clothing, Kendall + Kylie, that has been sold at retailers including PacSun and Revolve. However, Kylie Jenner’s new line Khy speaks more to her current style.
“Drop 001” on the Khy website features 12 garments. All but two of those garments are made entirely from faux leather. Jenner has worn countless leather looks to red carpets, gala’s, premieres, and more, making it the perfect fabric choice for her new line Khy.
Each garment is meant to be base pieces for layering. The line features everything from a faux trench coat to mini dresses to pants and moto gloves. The first drop also includes two shirts—one long sleeve and one short sleeve—that are comprised of Nylon and Spandex.
Jenner also played with different types of silhouettes in her first Khy drop. There are voluminous pieces such as her oversized trench coat and cropped fitted jacket, but also fitted garments such as the strapless leather mini dress and leggings.
Some of the garments are embellished with zippers and inverted seams to add an edgy feel to the line. The faux leather top even has an open back detail.
All of the garments are only sold in one color: black. Jenner made a statement with her all-black clothing line, being that Kylie Cosmetics’ signature pink branding is so well recognized.
Khy will be releasing different “drops,” meaning that future collections could feature different materials and color palettes. However, we are loving this cool and clean line for the colder months.
