The East Hampton Library hosted its 21st Annual Author’s Night fundraiser on Saturday, August 9, drawing more than 100 authors and hundreds of guests to Herrick Park for one of the Hamptons’ most celebrated summer traditions. Guests kicked off the night with a lively cocktail reception under the big tent, sipping wine, sampling hors d’oeuvres, and chatting with authors while picking up signed copies of their books. Later, the celebration carried on with dinner parties across the Hamptons, each hosted in honor of one or more of the evening’s featured writers.
“As we mark 21 years of Author’s Night, it was incredible to see the community once again come together in support of the library…The funds raised allow us to provide vital library programs and services to our community, all free of charge.”
Dennis Fabiszak, Director of the East Hampton Library
Proceeds from Author’s Night benefit the East Hampton Library, a not-for-profit institution that has served the community since 1897.
