Luxury fashion house Alaïa has officially arrived in Miami, unveiling its first-ever boutique in the city’s vibrant Design District. More than a retail destination, the new flagship serves as an immersive expression of the Maison’s artistic vision, where architecture, design, fashion and nature seamlessly converge.

Designed by renowned Swedish architecture firm Halleroed, a longtime creative collaborator of Alaïa, the boutique pays homage to Miami’s iconic Art Deco heritage through sculptural forms, soft curves and minimalist precision. The striking interior is wrapped in delicate pink mosaic tiles that flow continuously from the façade into the boutique’s walls, floors and custom-built furnishings, creating a serene environment that feels both modern and timeless.

One of the boutique’s defining architectural features is its lush integration of nature. A dramatic circular opening on the mosaic-clad façade houses an organically shaped planter designed by celebrated French botanist Patrick Blanc, whose signature living landscapes continue Alaïa’s longstanding relationship with botanical artistry. The greenery brings movement and life to the building while reflecting Miami’s tropical surroundings.

Inside, the boutique unfolds through a series of thoughtfully designed spaces that mirror the Alaïa wardrobe. Circular rooms showcase footwear collections, while the upper level offers an intimate setting dedicated to ready-to-wear, enhanced by mirrored folding screens that amplify light, reflection and perspective.

The space is further elevated through a museum-worthy collection of furniture curated by interior designer Martin Brûlé. Iconic pieces by Philippe Malouin, Philippe Starck, Ron Arad, Tom Dixon, Reinhard Müller, Gérard Kuijpers and François Arnal create a dialogue between collectible design and contemporary luxury, reinforcing Alaïa’s reputation for blurring the lines between fashion, art and architecture.

With its first Miami boutique, Alaïa introduces a destination that extends far beyond shopping. Rooted in sculptural beauty, architectural innovation and refined craftsmanship, the Design District space marks an exciting new chapter for the Maison while remaining true to the timeless values that have defined Alaïa for decades.

The new boutique is located at 171 NE 39th Street Miami, Florida 33137.
