Amy Green is introducing a new expression of luxury with the debut of Giada, a fashion brand centered around innovation, craftsmanship and conscious design. The activist, entrepreneur and environmental advocate unveiled the brand and its inaugural collection Sunday, September 20th, with an intimate fashion presentation and luncheon at The Core Club in New York City.

At the center of Giada is Vegetable Cashmere®, a first-of-its-kind plant-based fiber made entirely from soybeans and designed to offer the soft, luxurious feel associated with traditional cashmere and silk. The 100% biodegradable material offers a plant-based alternative to animal-derived cashmere, bringing together fiber innovation, functionality and a more considered approach to luxury.

“Giada was created from a mother’s love for her children and my belief that future generations deserve a kinder, more thoughtful world,” said Green. “I wanted to create something that proves elegance and ethics do not have to exist separately.”

Giada’s debut collection puts that philosophy into practice with a signature vest crafted from soft-touch vegan materials and plush vegan shearling. Designed with everyday functionality in mind, the pieces feature dedicated iPhone and lip-gloss pockets, while matching “mommy & me” styles extend the collection to children.

Each vest is handmade in New York by skilled women artisans, with Giada transforming in-stock materials into limited, distinctive pieces. The result is a collection that pairs practical details with the structure and refinement of luxury fashion, while emphasizing craftsmanship and longevity.

The launch brought together a curated crowd from the worlds of fashion, entertainment, media and culture, including Melissa Gorga, Ramona Singer, Caroline Alt, Candace Bushnell, Jackie Siegel and Natalie De’Banco, among others. Guests also received special gifting from Re-Q Health and LashnSpice.

Beyond fashion, Giada’s mission extends to conservation, with 15% of proceeds supporting The Green Vision, Green’s organization dedicated to protecting wildlife, biodiversity, oceans, forests and natural ecosystems.
