Delta Air Lines recently opened its brand new Delta One Lounge at JFK Airport in NYC. This space is the airline’s first lounge of its kind and is larger and more exclusive than any other Delta Sky Club.
The Delta One Lounge is located between Concourses A and B in Terminal 4 of JFK. With NYC as its backdrop, the lounge is inspired by the metropolis and ensures guests get the full New York experience.
There are Art Deco-inspired light fixtures and the gold leaf ceiling and chandeliers pay tribute to the famous Radio City Music Hall. There is also a retro-style bakery in the lounge which is reminiscent of NYC deli’s.
Other elements of the space were designed with iconic NYC landmarks, such as the Brooklyn Bridge, in mind.
Inside the lounge, there is a full-service bar that offers premium cocktails for Delta One ticketholders. The space is adorned with Missoni pillows, vases, coffee table books, and more. This is a new partnership for Delta and adds a fashionable flare to the lounge.
Restaurant Associates and Union Square Events collaborated to create a luxurious eating experience for Delta One members. Dishes that will be served in the Lounge include Hamachi crudo, steak tartare, and lasagna Bolognese.
For the anxious flyer, the Delta One Lounge is equipped with reservable relaxation pods, full-body massage chairs, and treatments from Grown-Alchemist certified therapists. Delta One ticketholders are even able to shower and have their clothes steamed and shined while visiting the lounge.
This new space is the perfect fit for the frequent Delta flyer.
“It’s a new era for Delta – this Lounge is raising the bar across the board, from the amenities to the food and beverage offerings to the level of personalized service,” says Claude Roussel, Vice President of Delta Sky Clubs and Lounge Experience. “We want our guests to feel the difference here; moreover, we want them to feel welcomed and valued from the moment they step through the door.”
