On Saturday, February 24th, the New York Junior League hosted its 72nd Annual Winter Ball event at Cipriani South Street in New York City.
The New York Junior League is one of New York City’s longest-standing women’s non-profit volunteer organizations.
The theme of this year’s event was the 72nd Annual Winter Ball: Glamour in Gotham: Celebrating New York City’s Historic Past and Vibrant Future and honored shoe designer Sarah Flint.
The New York Junior League not only partnered with the Sarah Flint brand to bring this event to life, but other fabulous companies including ASD Gems, Beck Bags, Möet & Chandon, and many more.
This sold-out black-tie event broke the New York Junior League’s attendance records with nearly 1,000 guests. This year’s Winter Ball raised over $700,000.
The evening began at 6:00 p.m. with a reception then led to cocktails, dinner, an awards presentation, a live auction, and concluded with dancing and dessert at 9:30 p.m.
The New York Junior League bestowed its highest honors to seven sustainers and volunteers. NYJL President Serra Eken handed out the Outstanding Sustainers Awards to A. Gale Kroeger and Elizabeth Ann Timberman, the Outstanding Volunteers Awards to Mona Kelly Lopez, Moriah K. Lutz-Tveite, Susan Timmons Marks, Elizabeth Ann Beller Staryak, and Megan Zuckerman, and the Humanitarian Award to Sarah Flint.
