On Sunday, February 16th, Saturday Night Live held its 50th Anniversary special and it did not disappoint!
The special featured so many of our favorite celebrities from Sabrina Carpenter to Steve Martin, Adam Sandler, Wiz Khalifa, Pedro Pascal, Kim Kardashian, and so many more.
Of course, iconic SNL writers and cast members such as Tina Fey, Michael Che, Chevy Chase, Pete Davidson, John Mulaney, Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph, Kenan Thompson, and more were all in attendance.

The Return of Domingo!
The famed SNL skit “Domingo” with Marcello Hernández returned for the SNL 50th anniversary but with a few special guests. Sabrina Carpenter joined in the skit that originally featured her hit song “Espresso.” Pedro Pascal also made a cameo as Domingo’s brother Santiago.
Lawrence Welk & The Ladies!
Will Ferrell took the SNL stage as Kristin Wiig’s Lawrence Welk. Wiig played the character of Doonese Maharelle and her sisters included Scarlett Johansson, Kim Kardashian, and Ana Gasteyer.
Weekend Update!
Colin Jost and Michael Che were joined by SNL-alumni Bill Murray for their Weekend Update skit. Murray ranked past Weekend Update anchors from worst to best, leaving Jost off the list!
Alien Abduction!
The SNL classic Alien Abduction skit with Kate McKinnon and John Hamm returned to the screen. Hamm and McKinnon were joined by Meryl Streep, Pedro Pascal, and Woody Harrelson.
We also must recognize cameos and musical performances from some of our favorite stars including Miley Cyrus, Drew Barrymore, Robert De Niro, Quinta Brunson, Jason Momoa, Adam Driver, Peyton Manning, Eddie Murphy and more!
It was certainly an unforgettable night in New York City!
