The Glass House welcomed an impressive crowd of creatives, collectors, and cultural leaders on June 6th for its highly-anticipated Summer Party, transforming the iconic New Canaan property into a vibrant afternoon dedicated to architecture, design, music, and philanthropy. Presented by Knoll with support from Max Mara and the African American Cultural Heritage Action Fund, the annual fundraiser brought together notable guests including Solange Knowles, Kyle Abraham, Brent Leggs, Dozie Kanu, Courtney J. Martin, and Tomashi Jackson.

Curated by Saint Heron, the afternoon featured immersive performances by Kyle Abraham, Artina McCain, Malcolm J. Merriweather, and Voices of Harlem, while DJ Standing On The Corner provided the soundtrack throughout the event. Guests explored the landmark grounds while enjoying thoughtfully curated picnic experiences, contemporary art installations, and a silent auction supporting The Glass House’s ongoing preservation and programming efforts.

A standout moment of the day was Knoll’s one-day design activation inside the Glass House, which paired modernist classics with new works by artist and designer Dozie Kanu. Across the property, guests also enjoyed Max Mara’s Italian Summer Café, complete with espresso, gelato, and alfresco seating inspired by la dolce vita, creating an elegant backdrop for mingling among leaders from the worlds of art, fashion, design, and philanthropy.

Additional attendees included Jonathan Olivares, Kirsten Reoch, Paul Goldberger, Hayal Pozanti, Josh Sperling, and numerous supporters of The Glass House’s mission. The annual event continues to serve as one of the institution’s most important fundraisers, celebrating the intersection of architecture, art, and culture while helping preserve one of modernism’s most significant landmarks.
