The Hamptons’ most anticipated cultural event of the season returns this July as the Hamptons Fine Art Fair takes over the Southampton Fairgrounds from July 9th to 12th, bringing together more than 140 galleries, 600 artists, and collectors from around the world for four days of world-class art, immersive exhibitions, and exclusive experiences. Celebrating 20 years of art fairs in the Hamptons, this year’s edition is expected to welcome more than 10,000 visitors, cementing its status as the East End’s premier art destination.

Set across a sprawling 70,000-square-foot pavilion complex on 17 acres in Southampton, the fair’s signature Pollock and de Kooning Pavilions will showcase everything from museum-quality Modern and Post-War works to cutting-edge contemporary art, sculpture, photography, mixed media, and emerging talent.

This year’s spirited theme pays tribute to America’s 250th anniversary, with a number of special exhibitions exploring American identity, history, freedom, and cultural influence through contemporary artistic perspectives. Visitors can expect themed installations, spotlight artist presentations, outdoor sculptures, collector talks, and a vibrant social scene that has become synonymous with the Hamptons summer calendar.

Don’t Miss: Shepard Fairey at One Art Space

Among this year’s standout presentations is “Question Everything: The Shepard Fairey Exhibit,” presented by One Art Space and curated by MaryAnn Giella McCulloh.

One of the most influential artists to emerge from contemporary street art and graphic culture, Shepard Fairey has spent decades using bold imagery to spark conversations around politics, activism, equality, and social change. Best known for his iconic OBEY campaign and Barack Obama’s “Hope” poster, Fairey’s work has transcended the boundaries of street art to become part of the global cultural landscape.

The exhibition features a curated selection of limited-edition, signed works that reflect the artist’s enduring themes of peace, liberty, dignity, and social consciousness. This curation offers collectors a rare opportunity to acquire highly sought-after editions from one of the most recognizable names in contemporary art.

Special Exhibitions Worth Seeking Out

Beyond the gallery booths, Hamptons Fine Art Fair is known for its museum-style special projects and themed exhibitions.

This year visitors can explore:

  • The Last Sitting™, presented by The Estate of Bert Stern, celebrating one of photography’s most iconic series.
  • Liberty Enlightening the World, featuring historic works connected to the Statue of Liberty.
  • Patriotic Kinetic Art by Gil Goren, a contemporary interpretation of the fair’s America 250 theme.
  • The Real Surreal, presented by the Museum of Modern Renaissance.
  • A World of Peace and Serenity from Vietnam, highlighting international contemporary perspectives.
  • Still | Moving: Photography by Joey Farrell, exploring motion, memory, and visual storytelling.
  • Denizens of the Deep, a captivating exhibition inspired by the natural world.

Blue-Chip Artists and Collectible Names

Collectors will find works by some of the most celebrated names in art history represented throughout the fair, including Pablo Picasso, Roy Lichtenstein, Keith Haring, Yayoi Kusama, Robert Rauschenberg, Alex Katz, Donald Sultan, Julian Opie, Rashid Johnson, and Mel Ramos.

The fair’s Spotlight Artist program will also feature presentations dedicated to Julian Lennon, Henry Blond, Kim Chesney, Alejandro de Narváez, Sam Halaby, Henry Orlik, and others.

A Celebration of Art in the Hamptons

More than simply an art fair, the event has become a cornerstone of the Hamptons cultural season, bringing together galleries, artists, institutions, collectors, and tastemakers from around the globe. The fair’s Hamptons Artists Hall of Fame, special installations, sculpture displays, and VIP programming create an experience that extends well beyond the traditional gallery booth.

Visitors entering the fair will also encounter one of this year’s most talked-about attractions: a rare bronze model connected to Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi’s original Statue of Liberty design, displayed as part of the America 250 celebration. Tickets are available for purchase here.
