The 33rd annual Cavallino Classic event is returning to Palm Beach this January. This event honors Ferrari’s excellence in vehicle-making and aims to preserve Enzo Ferrari’s legacy.
The four-day Cavallino Classic event will run from Thursday, January 25th to Sunday, January 28th (2024) at The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida. The Cavallino Classic is hosted by Canossa, which “represents a community of enthusiasts brought together by a common love for classic and sports cars.”
“This event is a testament to a shared and unwavering pursuit of excellence, a celebration of automotive artistry, and a platform showcasing the rich history and passion inherent in the Ferrari marque,” Chairman & CEO of Canossa Luigi Orlandini tells Spotlight.
A welcome reception will kick off the weekend on Thursday, January 25th. On Friday, January 26th, the first main event will commence.
The Cavallino Tour d’Eleganza welcomes any and all Ferrari models to take a scenic drive through beautiful Palm Beach together.
“Palm Beach, a historic locale known for its reverence for enduring luxury, holds a cherished place in our hearts,” says Luigi Orlandini. “Since its inception in 1992, the Cavallino Classic has seamlessly woven itself into the cultural fabric of Palm Beach, uniting collectors, enthusiasts, and aficionados.”
The Cavallino Tour d’Eleganza is followed by the iconic Party Under the Stars and Tour d’Eleganza Awards Presentation.
Saturday’s main event is the Concorso d’Eleganza. This historic event takes place on the lawns of The Breakers in Palm Beach. The Concorso d’Eleganza brings in some of the most rare and sought-after Ferrari models to be judged and considered for awards.
The Concorso d’Eleganza will celebrate the anniversaries of three Ferarri models: Ferrari 275, Ferrari 288, and Ferrari Testarossa. This event is followed by an awards show and parade where the winners will be able to show off their Ferraris.
The awards show and parade will conclude with a gourmet dinner that will feature collaborations with award-winning chefs.
The weekend wraps up with the annual Classic & Sports Sunday car show followed by a charity brunch and awards show hosted at the Marjorie Merriweather Post mansion in old Palm Beach.
Orlandini feels that the Cavallino Classic is “more than a tribute to Ferrari’s storied legacy, the event cultivates a sense of community, fostering conversations and connections that transcend the boundaries of time and geography.”
This event is about bringing enthusiasts and collectors together to celebrate Ferrari’s brilliance and beauty. ”
“I am particularly optimistic about the new generation of collectors and enthusiasts who will uphold this legacy so that it may continue to captivate hearts and minds for years to come,” Luigi Orlandini leaves us with.
General Admission tickets for the Cavallino Classic cost $480 and can be purchased on the Cavallino website. Those who are under 25 years old are eligible for a 50% discount and children under 14 (accompanied by an adult) are admitted for free.
VIP and additional tier tickets can also be purchased on the Cavallino website. $30 from each ticket will be donated to charity.
