With Halloween right around the corner, everyone is scrambling to figure out what or who they will dress up as. But, if there’s one thing we know for sure, the stars always serve us ghoulishly good looks.
Whether they dress up as each other or iconic TV and movie characters, we trust that their costumes will continue to break Instagram over and over again.

Winnie Harlow as Marilyn Monroe
Back in 2019, supermodel Winnie Harlow recreated Marilyn Monroe’s iconic look from her 1953 film Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. From the dress to the jewels and even the signature red lip, Harlow nailed this look.
Kendall Jenner as a Fembot
No one does Halloween quite like the Kardashian-Jenner family. In 2018, Kendall Jenner stepped out as one of the Fembots from the Austin Powers movies. Since then, this flirty costume has been recreated thousands of times—and we can’t get enough of it!
Cardi B as Morticia Addams
Cardi B has done some iconic costumes throughout the years, but this one has to be our favorite. In 2021, the rapper dressed up as Morticia Addams from the Addams Family. This spooky, yet sexy look was the perfect recreation of Morticia.
Harry Styles as Dorothy
This past year, Harry Styles performed on both October 30th and 31st at Madison Square Garden. The singer called these two evenings “Harryween,” and his costumes did not disappoint. We could not get enough of his recreation of Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz.
Kylie Jenner as Xtina
Back in 2016, Kylie Jenner nearly broke Instagram with her Halloween costume. Jenner dressed up as singer Christina Agulera and did not miss a single detail. This look will definitely go down in history books as one of the most iconic celebrity Halloween costumes.
Gigi Hadid as The Mask
Supermodel Gigi Hadid’s Halloween costume went viral in 2019. Hadid dressed up as The Mask from the 1994 film. This look recreated the character perfectly while remaining high fashion.
Kevin Hart as Dwayne Johnson
There is nothing better than celebrities dressing up as each other. In 2019, Kevin Hart dressed up as Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Hart recreated the iconic photo of Johnson from the 90s—and it was hilarious!
Lupita Nyong’o as Dionne from Clueless
Actress Lupita Nyong’o did not come to play with her costume in 2018. Nyong’o dressed up as Dionne from the 90s film Clueless. Everything from her outfit to her accessories and the makeup look was spot on. This look was to die for!
Heidi Klum as Jessica Rabbit
Heidi Klum always knows how to make a statement on Halloween. Though she’s had some incredible looks throughout the years, nothing beats her 2015 look. Klum dressed up as Jessica Rabbit from the film Who Framed Robert Rabbit. She went all out on this look and it paid off!
Kerry Washington as Lionel Richie
It would not be a round-up of our favorite celebrity costumes if we didn’t include this one. This past Halloween, Kerry Washington dressed up as Lionel Richie. The actress recreated Richie’s debut album cover seamlessly.
